Andy Steinvurzel brings a seasoned legal and financial background to Southern Edge Capital, with extensive experience across financial products, transactions, and entity formation. He earned a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. from Brandeis University and has spent over two decades working across private capital markets, including positions at EFG Asset Management, a Swiss private bank, and a hedge fund and private equity fund consultancy for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio.

Andy oversees legal and compliance activities at Southern Edge Capital, including private placements, regulatory matters, and legal due diligence. His background allows Southern Edge Capital to manage these functions internally, with the same standards applied across every other discipline at the firm.

Before joining Southern Edge Capital, Andy spent nearly a decade as a passive LP in the multifamily portfolio that preceded the firm’s formation, investing across multiple acquisitions. His decision to commit his own capital to the strategy long before joining the team reflects a conviction in the strategy that predates his role at the firm.
